The music has been viewed and streamed by millions of people across multiple digital platforms, on YouTube it garnered 32M views and j Spotify it garnered over 144M streams. This song made its way, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

Davido Ft Meek Mill

Davido is known for his distinctive style and consistency in collaborating with American Artists but this song marked the beginning of his collaborations with other American artists. This was Davido’s first major international collaboration and it was an anthem for years. Enlisting Meek Mill on his record was a big deal that lived up to expectations by every inch. It went on to garner 13M views on its official music video on YouTube.

For My Hand is a song by Nigerian singer Burna Boy, featuring vocals from English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. The official music video for For My Hand premiered alongside the release of the song and album on 8 July 2022 and has garnered over 143M views on YouTube. it peaked top positions on charts and it has been certified Platinum and Gold in countries like Australia, Canada, Nigeria, Denmark and more.

This collaboration earned Nigerian singer Tems the Bet Award for Best International Act 2022. In April, the 26-year-old Nigerian artist was featured on the song “Wait For You” by American singer Future. The singer’s voice, according to Future, is fantastic on the smash which also ended up winning a Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance. itan garnered over 737M streams on Spotify and over 152M views on its audio and over 88M views in its video on YouTube.

We can’t talk about collaborations without adding this song that went on to be the most viral, most listened to song in the world. This song “Calm down” by Rema features the incredible vocals from American singer and songwriter Selena Gomez. The official music video brought vibrant textures adding to the beauty of the song and this song garnered over 837M views on YouTube and over 1B streams on Spotify. The remix which was a spawn of the original song was released on the 25th of August, 2022. The new version reached number one on both the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs and the Billboard Global Excl. US charts, and peaked at number three on the Global 200 chart. It peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100, marking Rema first top-ten hit and Gomez ninth. It also led the U.S. Afrobeats Songs for a record- setting 58 weeks. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI),the remix was the second best-selling global single of 2023, earning 1.89 billion subscription streams equivalents globally.
