Zander Tyler (born February 22, 1982), better known under his stage name Jack Parow, is a South African rapper. Parow was born in Durbanville, West Cape, South Africa. Parow wanted to be a rapper since he was in primary school. He used to rap with friend Keagan Cloete aka cutie cloete, citing Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle as an initial inspiration as well as the likes of T-Pain. Although he started rapping in English, he decided later on that he preferred Afrikaans.

Garnering over 643k views on its official music video of YouTube, the song“Byellville”by Jack Parow was released from the album “Jack Parow” in 2009. The music video was directed by Duvand Durand and Thomas Ferreira. The track Byellville was produced by SFR.

- Parow has a daughter, Ruby Tyler, born in 2012. Ruby was the inspiration for Parow’s 2014 song Dis Befok, and video footage for the 2016 remix of the song was shot by her via a chest-mounted camera.

Controversy
In 2018, Jack Parow made a statement hitting the organizers of SABC concert saying they made him feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Apparently during the show, they didn’t let them perform and after some time the artist, Jack Parow and his crew left. So the whole controversial situation began with mode of payment as they didn’t pay him on time regardless of prior agreement. Jack went on to lambaste the show, saying that organisers begged him to go even though his full fee had not been paid. At the end of the day, The concert became a laughing stock online with pictures of an empty stadium doing the rounds after promoters said that they were expecting a crowd of 20,000.
