Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Moana’ hits our charts this week with over $95m box office sales in its first week. Here’s what you need to know:
Number One: Moana
Gracing number one on the list is the musical-adventure movie called Moana. The live action film of the 2016 animation of the same name was released on the 10th of July 2026. Moana was produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Seven Bucks Productions, Flynn Picture Company and 5000 Broadway productions. Also, it was directed by Thomas Kail. Since the week of its release the movie has grossed over $95,000,000. The film follows Moana, who answers the Ocean’s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui go on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people. Number Two: Minions and Monsters
Take a step lower on the list is the adventure movie called Minions and Monsters. The digital animation film was released on the 26th of June 2026. Minions and Monsters was produced by Illumination Entertainment. Also, it was directed by Pierre Coffin. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $280,410,000. Some of its casts include:

Number Three: Toy Story 5
Dropping again, is the digital animation movie called Toy Story 5. The adventure film was released on the 19th of June 2026. Toy Story 5 was produced by Disney-Pixar. Also, it was directed by Andrew Stanton. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $879,072,720. Some of its casts include:

Number Four: Evil Dead Burn
New and popular is the horror movie Evil Dead Burn. Termed bloody horror and gore, the film was released on the 9th of July 2026. The supernatural horror was produced by Ghost House Pictures, New Line Cinema, Screen Gems. Also, it was directed by Sébastien Vaniček. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $27,000,000. The story follows a woman, who after the loss of her husband, seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites—turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell—she comes to discover that the vows she took in life… live on even in death. Some of its casts include:
