We turn the table this week as we take a look at something completely different from the usual. It’s about the top 4 Soundtrack for trending movies. Here we GO!

 

Four: Vegas – Doja Cat: “Vegas” is a song by American rapper and singer Doja Cat. It was released through Kemosabe Records and RCA Records as the lead single from the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic, Elvis, on May 6, 2022. The song was produced by Rogét Chahayed and Yeti Beats. It interpolates a sample of Big Mama Thornton’s 1952 song “Hound Dog”, which was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and notably covered by Presley. The official music video for the song was released on June 2, 2022 which garnered over 26M views.

 

Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini (born October 21, 1995), known professionally as Doja Cat is an American rapper and singer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she began making and releasing music on SoundCloud as a teenager.

 

Three: Hold my Hand – Lady Gaga: “Hold My Hand” is a song by American singer Lady Gaga, released on May 3, 2022, through Interscope Records. It is the lead single to the soundtrack for the film Top Gun: Maverick (2022). The song was written and produced by Gaga and BloodPop as “a love letter to the world during and after a very hard time”. Benjamin Rice received additional production credits. The official audio garnered over 5.4Million views on YouTube.

 

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, born March 28, 1986 known professionally as Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her image reinventions and musical versatility. Gaga began performing as a teenager, singing at open mic nights and acting in school plays.

 

Two: Turn up the sunshine – Diana Ross feat. Tame Impala

“Turn Up the Sunshine” by Diana Ross and Tame Impala was released as the soundtrack to “Minions: The Rise of Gru” as a lead single on May 20, 2022. The song garnered over 3.6M on it’s official video on YouTube.

 

Diana Ernestine Earle Ross (born March 26, 1944) is an American singer and actress. She rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group the Supremes, who became Motown’s most successful act during the 1960s and one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.

 

One: Sweet Child o Mine – Guns N’ Roses

This song garnered over 1.3B views on it’s official video on YouTube. “Sweet Child o’ Mine” is a song by American rock band Guns N’ Roses. It appears on their debut album, Appetite for Destruction which was released in June 1988 as the album’s third single, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming the band’s only US number-one single.  Sweet Child o’ Mine” featured in the film, Thor love and Thunder which helped reflect the crazy adventure presented. The song was also used in the film’s marketing.

 

Guns N’ Roses is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1985, then they signed to Geffen Records in 1986. The band comprised vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. The current lineup consists of Rose, Slash, McKagan, guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese.
