The holidays are full of family, friends, great food, and great memories. But they aren’t always compatible with a Healthy lifestyle Coupled together, all those festive parties and the stress the festive season can bring can mean a hit to our overall well-being into New Year’s. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Fortunately, I’d be sharing with you four smart choices to make during this festive season.

1.Eat and drink responsibly: This season, there will be lot of food and drinks to be consumed. But remember that there is a limit to what your body can take.  There’s nothing wrong with enjoying an indulgent, festive dinner but you’ll want to make sure that your meals surrounding it are healthy and nutrient-dense. Over eating or drinking can result to serious health issues. You wouldn’t want to spend the rest of the year in the hospital bed, would you?

2.Beware of Constipation: The last time I talked about ways you can avoid being constipated and honestly you need this especially during this festive season, where you’d have lots of delicacies going around, try not to get constipated. Stay hydrated, Exercise and eat fiber with that, you’re good to go ladies and gentlemen.

3.Stay Safe: Irrespective of the festive season going on, I urge you all to stay safe wherever you are. Do not leave your valuable in cars as this is an open invitation to criminals. Do not move with large sums of money (You can make use of mobile money). Just make sure, whatever you do, wherever you are, ensure that you are safe. Wear your face mask and get vaccinated.

4.Spend Wisely: And yes I know it’s detty December and you know the new year is coming. Don’t go and spend all your money and come and be looking sad and dejected during the new year oo. Spend wisely. Create a budget for this season. If you don’t see the need to spend excessively, don’t. Be smart about your spending this period.

Be sure to have much fun this festive season and stay safe while you are at it!
