Woman Stands Trial For The Murder Of A Baby Who Fell From Sixth-floor Of A Storey-Building

A woman has been charged with the murder of an 18-month-old boy who died in a fall from a sixth-floor window. Much detail has not been disclosed, but it is learnt that a woman is being held responsible for the death. Officers were called to Newcastle House in Bradford just after 5pm on Saturday following a report that a child had suffered life-threatening injuries. Police said that after arriving at the block of flats, it soon became apparent that 18-month-old boy Elliot Procter had died.

Gemma Procter, 23, from Newcastle House, Bradford, has been charged with murder and will appear before magistrates this morning. Enquiries into the death remain ongoing, West Yorkshire Police said.
