Waitress spits in Eric Trump’s face at Chicago Cocktail Lounge

President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump has confirmed that the U.S. Secret Service took an employee of a Chicago cocktail lounge into custody after she spat on him.

The alleged spitting incident happened on Tuesday night at The Aviary in Chicago’s trendy West Loop area.

According to The Root, Eric arrived at the bar with a few friends when a woman said “something that sounded anti-Trump” and projectile-drooled on him around 8:30 p.m.

Secret Service agents charged with protecting the partial heir to the Trump tax-avoidance empire reportedly leaped into action and handcuffed the woman.

He implied and described the incident as an example of Democrats’ displaying their frustration for the successes of his father’s Republican administration.

“For a party that preaches tolerance, this once again demonstrates they have very little civility,” he said. “When somebody is sick enough to resort to spitting on someone, it just emphasizes a sickness and desperation and the fact that we’re winning.”

The lounge’s owners, Alinea Group, said in a statement on Wednesday that they’re “just beginning to learn the details” of the “unfortunate incident,” but the employee who allegedly spat upon Eric Trump has been placed on leave.

“What is certain is this: no customer should ever be spit upon,” the statement said.
