Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier should expect a pretty hefty punishment for his actions Wednesday.
Following Tottenham’s FA Cup loss to Norwich City in a shootout, Dier rushed the stands to confront — and possibly fight — a fan.
Video showed the 26-year-old Dier deep in the stands being corralled by security.

Some fans captured photos of Dier making his way through the stands to get to the fan.
Dier said he went into the stands due to an incident involving his younger brother.
Spurs manager Jose Mourinho questioned Dier’s actions following that game, saying they were something that “we as professionals cannot do,” according to Football.London.
“I think Eric Dier did what we as professionals cannot do but when someone insults you and your family is involved, especially your young brother.
“This person insulted Eric, the younger brother was not happy with the situation and Eric was not happy.
“We as professionals cannot do what he did.”
The confrontation is reminiscent of Eric Cantona’s infamous 1995 incident, when the former Manchester United star kicked and punched a fan after being red-carded.
