A Burnley fan has been stabbed in Athens ahead of the club’s Europa League game against Olympiacos.
Burnley are involved in a Europa League playoff game to determine if they will enter the competition proper.
Sadly, altercations between traveling supporters and local fans have resulted in one fan being stabbed.
Another 23 Burnley supporters were arrested at the city centre.
Some English fans were beaten up and robbed prior to the game, per the Lancashire Telegraph.
The condition of the fan is reportedly stable, as he received stitches following the incident.
