Born Babalola Falemi in Lagos State, Nigeria. Sauce Kid aka Sinzu completed his high school education in Nigeria after which he moved to the United States. Here, he cultivated the habit of rhyming although it would not show forth until February 2005 when he agreed to start up an independent recording label called Q Beats Entertainment.

 

In December 2005, Sinzu headed out to Nigeria with a video for the hit “Omoge wa jo”  which featured legendary AfroPop singer “Mike Okri”. The video and song gained him recognition within the African music industry and also led to his nomination at the Channel O Music video awards in South Africa.

In 2016, the gist began to spread that Sinzu had been arrested for grand theft and other related offenses. The rapper was accused of stealing bank card numbers and identifying information of their owners. He allegedly stole $15,388 from the unsuspecting victims.
