TG Omori, also known as Boy Director is a Nigerian music video director and cinematographer. His real name is ThankGod Omori Jesam. ThankGod Omori Jesam, hails from Cross-River State in Nigeria. Omori grew up in Agungi, Lagos State. He started directing at the age of 15 while overseeing stage plays in his school and church. And at 16 he started making videos but took it up professionally at 18 after graduating from Pencil film institute, making him the youngest professional filmmaker in Nigeria at the time. He always said that the camera is just a tool, not the main creator.

The official music video garnered over 34m views which was released On February 10, 2020. In the TG Omori-directed video where Fireboy DML is seen in a ballroom filled with dancers doing the foxtrot and mambo, as well as with a group of outdoor ballet dancers. This is arguably one of the videos that brought him further into limelight in the music industry.

The music video directed by TG Omori garnered 28M views on YouTube. The music video was uploaded to YouTube in the evening of June 22, 2022. According to TG Omori, his biggest miracle this year was God answering his prayers to hold the rain for two days while shooting the “Buga” video. The song became the most Shazam song in the world. It peaked at #1 in twenty countries Apple Music chart, including Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Gambia and others.
