15 years old, Ontario’s Johnny Orlando started by posting covers of famous singers like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber on his YouTube channel with the help of his older sister. He’s garnered more than 200 million views which has helped him move away from making covers to producing his own original material.
His most recent singles: “Missing You” and “What If which have gained Orlando mainstream attention not just in Canada as well as outside the country. He was nominated for Best new Canadian artist- at the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs – one of the youngest nominees ever
It’s a big deal as there are break-outs of talents in music every year. It may interest you some artists have decided to go on hiatus.
Speaking of hiatus, report has it Fifth Harmony is on hiatus as well as some other bands while new bands have been formed, some reformed, some disbanded(about 10 bands disbanded) where some relatively new artists/bands are carting away awards in 2018.

Anitta, 25 is a Brazilian singer Anitta and one of the artists who recently debuted in the Hot Latin Songs Chart, teaming up with one of the genre’s hottest stars, J Balvin, for her first hit on the chart, “Downtown.” Anitta is working on her first Spanish-language album.
Juice WRLD-
Jarad Higgins, better known by his stage name Juice Wrld a 19 year old American rapper, singer and songwriter. He signed a 3 Million dollar deal with Interscope Records. He is primarily known for his breakout hits “All Girls Are the Same”, “Lucid Dreams”, and “Legends”. His debut studio album Goodbye & Good Riddance was released on May 23, 2018. Some call him SoundCloud rapper.
Juice WRLD is an immense talent. He talks about teenager’s wellbeing which advocates against drugs. He’s got something for older generation too
CONCLUSION
Every acts tells his/her story through music. These have been some of the new makers of music, the sound of now/tomorrow. We are not saying they are the best artists or top notch even though some of them made and are still making various lists of best new music for 2018 due to so much buzz around them.

She was spotted by a renowned DJ Mustard signing 10 Summers label, Ella Mai became known from unknown to a household name featuring hip-hop’s biggest stars taking center stage with series of remixes.
