It’s yet another American singer, electronic music producer and DJ who appears to be push more boundaries through music subsequently. The masked producer he has kept his identity a secret (with a white bucket) because he doesn’t want or need fame in his words. He does not do interviews. Imagine that in a world where artists are queuing/lobbying to get media interviews. Weird!  He’s worked with well-known artists with fantastic collabs. He’s also worked with Khalid, Anne-Marie, Logic Skrillex, Noah Cyrusand more! He’s carved a niche for himself in the Electronic Dance Dusic (EDM). Marshmello is making an extra push to ensure that 2019 is his year!Y’all better be ready for our #AOTW. This year, he’s gonna be dishing out more tunes to connect with this year.

He said  I don’t want to just stick to one genre, as a producer who loves making music nothing excites me more than pushing the boundaries “According to him, “I’m working on so much new music right now. He’s got his new (3rd) album in the works already and that sure will be coming through with a couple hip hop as well as his next pop single just as  Mello tweeted.  Y’all Mellow’s fans already  know he’s “genuinely trying to create something positive for people to connect with”!

Marshmellow whose full name is Christopher Comstock was born 19th May 1992 (will be 27 this year). He’s a Philadelphia native; but he later moved to Los Angeles, California. Marshmello first gained international recognition by releasing remixes of songs by American DJ duo Jack Ü and Russian-German DJ Zedd. Before he became the world famous, he had posted his first song called “WaVeZ” as an original mix on his SoundCloud in March of 2015. Then shortly thereafter he started gaining support from known DJs including Skrillex. His debut studio album, Joytime, was released in January 2016, which included the lead single and Marshmello’s debut single “Keep It Mello”.

Marshmello’s second song in 2016, a platinum-certified single titled “Alone”, was released in May via the Canadian record label Monstercat. Having peaked on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 60, it became his first single to be certified platinum in the US and Canada with over a million copies of certified units. That year, he released three subsequent singles.

In 2017, after releasing singles such as “Chasing Colors”, “Twinbow” and “Moving On”, Marshmello collaborated with American R&B singer Khalid to release “Silence” as a single, which was certified platinum and multi-platinum in eight countries. Succeeding another single, one of his best-selling singles, a collaboration with American singer Selena Gomez, titled “Wolves” was released.

His second single of 2018, titled “Friends”, a collaboration with British singer Anne-Marie, was released. Months later, his second studio album, Joytime II, was released with singles “Tell Me” and “Check This Out”. Marshmello’s highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the United Kingdom, titled “Happier”, a collaboration with British band Bastille, was released in August.

His stage name, an alternative spelling of “marshmallow”. Having had an image of masking himself with a white bucket. His marshmallow mascot head were both inspired by Canadian electronic music producer Deadmau5-a mentor in the industry  who also hides his identity wearing a “dead mouse” mascot head.  Imagine Marshmello has never confirmed his identity himself or through his team.  But it has been widely reported that his stage name, Marshmello, is an alias for his real name Chris Comstock.  He once confirmed his real name Chris in a phone conversation with Skrillex -“My name is Chris….short for Christmas came early; Marshmellow in summary released his first original song in 2015 . His debut album was released in 2016, sophomore (2nd) album in 2018 and his 3rd will be released this year. On 9th December 2018, he twitted about his 3rd album which he said was in the work at the time. “I’m working on so much new music right now. Joytime 3, a couple hip hop, and my next pop single. (In March 2019, he released the single). It is the third from his Joytime album series, which includes his 2016 debut, Joytime, and his second in 2018, Joytime II. For an artist who remains (officially) unmasked over four years after his debut, Marshmello has had an impressive career. His constant music video releases and his international performances, it’s a wonder he ever gets music produced — and yet he does. A lot. His manager, Moe Shalizi, expects his 2019 income to rival that of Calvin Harris.
