We are talking American artist today. We will be talking music by the man who some fans have referred to as Miami dance machine artist – Jason Joel Desrouleaux. I loved me some Jason back in the day. Oh my Gosh! The days of mouth chewing pretending to be singing along. My best of Jasons are: Whatcha Say, “Marry me” together with Jordin Sparks and ‘Swalla’ (featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign). I bet Derulo turns heads with his dance moves! He’s spot on: Music, Dance and Sports. I am a crush and huge fan. I really am.

Jason Derulo was born September 21, 1989 (29 to be 30 this month). He is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Before fame, he studied opera and ballet at the Dillard Center for the Arts and began writing songs for Diddy and Danity Kane when he was sixteen. He has always dreamt to become an entertainer. So in his teenage years he established his own group that tried to perform different musical compositions. The group did not live long but it was a success among the schoolmates.

He earned his first opportunity in the music industry by writing and producing songs for Lil Wayne’s record label before the start of his solo recording career in 2009.  After producing records for several artists and writing songs for Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman, Young Money Entertainment owner Lil Wayne and rapper Diddy, Derulo signed to minor recording label Beluga Heights which became part of the Warner Music Group. Derulo released his debut single “Whatcha Say” in May 2009. Derulo released his second single, “In My Head”, in December 2009 and his debut studio album, Jason Derulo, later in March 2010. #4-Whatcha Say!

No 4: “Whatcha Say” (Peaked at #1 on 11.14.2009)

Wow! Such a huge song! That hit song that made him become world renowned. That song sold over five million digital downloads, gaining an RIAA certification of triple Platinum, and reaching number 1 in the U.S. and New Zealand. The jam was added to over 150 (156) monitored pop stations in US. It made it the biggest Top 40 US radio launch ever.

Moving on, Derulo dropped his second album, Future History in September 2011. Before the album, he dropped “Don’t Wanna Go Home” – the UK number-one single. Derulo’s 3rd album Tattoos came through in September 2013.  His 3rd U.S. album, Talk Dirty was released in April 2014. Talk Dirty, spawned five platinum singles: The Other Side,” “Talk Dirty” (feat. 2 Chainz), “Marry Me,” “Wiggle” (feat. Snoop Dogg), and “Trumpets”. The track “Talk Dirty” itself sold over six million singles worldwide and became a No. 1 around the world, while dominating radio charts in the U.S. in 2014.

In 2015, Derulo released his single “Want to Want Me” and announced his 4th studio album; Everything Is 4 later released in June 2015. First single off the album Want To Want Me is said to be the, ’80s-friendly pop tune. That jam is on our #3 spot. Looks like Derulo’s fifth album -2Sides may be released soon this year via Beluga Heights Records and Warner Records. The new album “2Sides” will be his first LP in four years.

Yeah definitely! On August 27th, Jason released a summer single “Too Hot” from the album, following the previously released single “Mamacita” featuring Farruko. Jason Derulo had told told Rolling Stone: “I feel like this album is my greatest work thus far. It shows a totally different side people don’t know yet – a very vulnerable side. Very vulnerable but also very vocal-centric music as well, which people haven’t gotten a huge taste of yet.”

Y’all look forward to that album guys! More gist after #3and#2
