A 16-year-old student bled to death as a large group of teenagers stood by and streamed his final moments on social media without helping.

Khaseen Morris suffered a fatal stab wound to his chest after he was set upon by five or six assailants at a strip mall parking lot near Oceanside High School in Long Island, New York, on Monday.

Footage showed how the attackers fled the scene and left the wounded teen fighting for his life on the pavement.

Paramedics rushed the school senior to hospital but he later died from his injuries.

Videos of the incident, which was witnessed by 50 to 70 people, immediately began circulating on Snapchat, reports KSLA News .

“They videoed his death instead of helping him,” said Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick, a Nassau County homicide detective said. “Kids stood here and didn’t help Khaseen. They would rather video this event.”

His heartbroken family said the row started after Khaseen walked another girl home from school.

That gesture angered her ex-boyfriend who allegedly began sending threatening messages in the morning before the fatal confrontation.

“Him being so nice, that one good deed that he did got him killed,” 22-year-old Kedeemah Morris, his sister,  told the New York Times.

Detectives have detained 18-year-old Tyler Flach the killing and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Officers say the remaining suspects attend various other high schools in the area.

Lt. Fitzpatrick said: “You need to get out in front of this. After I put handcuffs on you is not going to be the time to be helpful for you.”

A group of five or six boys were seen punching a kicking the victim
the incident instead of assisting the seriously wounded teen.

“I don’t know what to make of it, my generation versus this generation,” he said.

“This can’t go on. Your friends are dying while you stand there and video it. That’s egregious.”
