Sharon Osbourne is showing off a completely new hair transformation.
After rocking red hair for years, the television personality, 67, is trying out a new color: white.
Osbourne debuted her new look on Tuesday’s episode of “The Talk.”
“It must’ve been a slow news day for people to talk about my hair color,” she said of her hair making headlines.
She continued, “I was just so fed up with going and having it dyed and having it dyed and I just was like, I can’t do this anymore. Why am I trying to do something or be something I’m not. So, jsut be who you are.”
According to her colorist Jack Martin, who first posted a before-and-after photo of the change-up to Instagram, the color can also be described as “platinum blonde.”
“She was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years. she explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster,” he explained. “Sharon was very tired of coloring her hair once a week
and she was obligated to since she is on tv almost every day hosting her popular tv show @thetalkcbs”
Martin said it took him a total of 8 hours from start to finish to get her to the right shade.
“She doesn’t have to be committed to coloring her hair once a week anymore,” he continued. “I had great time spending my day off with this gorgeous, humble, and sweet soul.”

Sharon isn’t the only Osbourne to make headlines recently.
Husband Ozzy made news Monday after canceling the North American leg of his tour, citing health reasons.
The singer, who was scheduled to play his “No More Tours 2” tour throughout the United States and Canada from May through July, said in a statement that he will instead spend the time recovering from various medical issues and traveling to Europe for treatment.
“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a (expletive) year,” Osbourne said in a statement. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six (to) eight weeks.”
The announcement comes about a month after the Prince of Darkness revealed his Parkinson’s diagnosis in a “Good Morning America” interview with Sharon in January.
