Manchester United front man Romelu Lukaku, finally found the back of the net after going four games without a goal. The Belgian international, found his form after netting three for Belgium on international duty.

Lukaku’s goal drought came following United’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace in October, and has since failed to score in four premier league games. Following his goal drought, the striker came under much criticism and there followed doubts as to his long-term future in the Manchester shirt.

Lukaku silenced his critics with a fine performance against New Castle, who have so far, been the only team to score at Old Trafford in the premier league, leaving United to fight back from a goal down to a fine 4-1 victory. With the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lukaku will need to keep scoring and winning to keep the top striker role.
