Rapper Lil Peep Posted This Before He Died Of Drug Overdose, “When I die you’ll love me”

Rapper Lil Peep, whose real name is Gustav Åhr, died on Wednesday evening November 15th from a reported drug overdose. The 21-year-old rapper, who dated actress Bella Thorne, shared a post on Instagram with an eerie caption hinting that he was about to die.

“When I die you’ll love me,” he captioned a photo of himself on-stage.

 

 

He later shared another photo with pills on the tip of his tongue and captioned it, “fucc it”.

 

 

Those close to the rapper believe he died from drug overdose hours before he was due to perform a show in Arizona. Friends and fans posted touching tributes on social media. His former lover, Bella Thorne, appeared heartbroken as she posted an Instagram story in which she mourned his sudden passing.

In a short series of videos, Bella said: “To anybody out there who is a Lil Peep fan you guys know how talented he was. How good he was. Well, he was even more f**king great as a person.”

Lip Peep’s manager, Chase Ortega wrote: “I’ve been expecting this call for a year. Mother f***”.

The New York-born rapper has been candid about his drug use. He revealed LSD, acid, mushrooms and weed are his drugs of choice and he used to take 20 Xanax a day to combat anxiety. He suffered depression and once said, “Some days I wake up and I’m like: ‘F**k I wish I didn’t wake up'”.
