A week after death at the age of 37, the funeral events for Tosyn Bucknor have started today with the Service of songs at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Opening the glorious ceremony was Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the lead pastor at Harvesters Church where Tosyn worshiped until her passing.
As Pastor Biodun addressed guests, he recounted the last conversation he had with Tosyn just 48 hours before the news of her death. “Looking back, it was as if she was just telling me… just in case when that day comes, know what to say… The conversation we had that Saturday was the longest we’ve ever had. I said are you okay? She said look at my face I’m fine… and we just spoke about a lot of things”, Pastor Idowu revealed.
Her family had earlier announced that Wednesday will be a night of tributes and a service of songs while Thursday, a funeral service will precede a private internment.
Many of her colleagues in the media and entertainment industries where she worked in her life have arrived at the venue and will celebrate her life until late tonight.
