The Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), a pro-Muhammadu Buhari group on Wednesday obtained the presidential election nomination forms on behalf of the president who is currently in China for FOCAC.

The group paid the mandatory N45 million for the expression of interest and the nomination form.

The cheque was received by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC)Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in Abuja.

This is coming after President Buhari said the N55 million nomination fee is too high for him.

According to Newtelegraph a member of the National Executive Committee of the party revealed that the President “has complained to the party that he could not afford it.”

A 35-year-old woman identified as Ronke Ajayi had also vowed to sell all her belongings in order to purchase President Muhammadu Buhari’s nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest 2019 presidential election.

The woman mentioned that with President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s re-election in 2019, the future of her unborn children is bright. She believes Buhari deserves second term in office based on the achievements he recorded in the last three years of his administration.
