A woman pushed a priest from the stage as he gave a mass to a packed congregation.

The priest can be seen tumbling from the stage as his fellow clergymen in the background watch on in disbelief.

It’s understood the 32-year-old woman managed to break through security and storm the stage at around 2:50pm on Sunday, July 14.

Father Rossi did not receive any injuries in the fall and decided not to press charges.

He returned to conducting the mass just a few minutes later after being seen by medics.

Police said she was aged 32 and had travelled to the celebration mass from Rio de Janeiro.

Father Rossi said: “Rest assured, just a couple of pains, you did not break anything.”
