Police In Delta State Arrest Two Suspected Members Of IPOB

The police in Delta state has arrested two suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for allegedly shooting and killing four persons in Abraka Market, Asaba on Friday, September 15. The Delta state commissioner of police Zanna Ibrahim said the suspects – Abraham Ndudi, 24, from Kwale, and Okereke Ifeanyi, 21, from Kwale and Ogbaru in Delta and Anambra states – were arrested in their hiding place. Ibrahim in a statement signed by the Delta state police command spokesperson Andrew Ania said the suspects were allegedly involved in the killing of four people in the state.

He said Ndudi and Ifeanyi were arrested while they were hiding in the ceiling of a major hotel in Abraka. He said they were trying to escape when some police officers apprehended them. Ibrahim also said the police is currently working with the arrested suspects to apprehend the third suspect simply identified as Last Burial.
