Nigerian Midfielder ‘Etebo’ Moves To Spanish Side Las Palmas On Loan

Etebo has completed a loan move to Las Palmas

Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has completed a loan move to Spanish Side UD Las Palmas from Club Desportivo Feirense of Portugal.

The Super Eagles midfielder was linked with a move to Belgian side Racing Genk and Porto among several clubs.

However, the Spanish side have confirmed the capture of the 22-year-old box to box midfielder, as they posted a picture of Etebo on their official Twitter handle.

Etebo’s move to Spain, comes as at a time when competition is high for places in the Super Eagles midfield. Oghenekaro can play as a defensive or attacking midfielder, and he announced himself on the international scene when he scored four goals for Nigeria against japan at the 2016 Olympic games.

Etebo played for NPFL side Warri Wolves before his move to Club Desportivo Feirense of Portugal, He has made 10 appearances for the Super Eagles and contributed one goal.
