The family of late Solomon Korang from Sunyani Newtown in the Brong Ahafo Region, Ghana are still looking for his body to bury, after the mortuary, where he was kept failed to provide him for burial.

According to Daily Guide, the body of late Korang was sent to Best Care Clinic and Mortuary Services by one Nana Fosu for preservation on 16th July, 2018.

However, on 9th August, 2018, when family members went to the morgue to retrieve the corpse for burial and funeral service, it was nowhere to be found.

The development disrupted the funeral arrangements that had been made.

Later, investigations revealed that another family from Asuakwaa near Chiraa in the same district mistook their late father for Korang’s corpse, and they had buried him on August 3rd, 2018.

Late Korang’s daughter, Kyeremaa Florence, who was not satisfied with the explanation from the mortuary authorities, reported her ‘missing’ father to the Sunyani Police.

And police is investigating to identify the family that came for her father’s corpse.
