Shocking footage captured the moment five people with left bloodied and with slash and stab wounds after a mass brawl outside a nightclub.

A 20-year-old man has been charged after the late night violence and is due to appear at court today.

A bystander captured the fight in Bradford with footage showing a man in a white top slashing out with what is alleged to be a knife.

Video from the scene shows a number of men appearing to throw kicks and punches, before the alleged knife man is urged to leave the scene by female friends.

As onlookers try to intervene, one man can be heard yelling: “What you doing? The police are here.”

West Yorkshire Police arrived Westgate at the junction of Sackville Street at 3:30am on Sunday.

Initial inquiries suggested altercation within the Village nightclub broke out onto the streets outside.

Five people were taken to hospital with stab and slash wounds. Two remain at hospital; with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Five men, ranging between 19 to 27 years old, have been arrested in connection with this incident.Two of the victims are still being treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Rohann Akhtar, 20, of New Hey Road, Bradford, has been charged with two counts of wounding and violent disorder.

He is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates court today.
