The issue of pant theft seems to be something that will never die down anytime soon. Hardly does a day go by without a report of someone caught stealing a lady’s pant with intent to use it for rituals or sell to ritualists.
A man based in Ondo has been arrested after he was almost lynched to death by angry residents for trying to steal a woman’s pant.
According to Adero Pius, few days ago, the suspect met a young boy and allegedly cajoled him to bring his mother’s panties with the promise of giving him N500.
Unfortunately for him, when the boy got to his house, he alerted his mother who mobilized some youths in the neighborhood and caught the suspect where he was waiting for the boy to bring his mother’s pant.
Safe for the timely intervention of the police, the man would have been dead as he was beaten mercilessly and strip unclad.
