Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has missed Liverpool training on Wednesday after feeling ill, and has attended hospital as a precaution, as confirmed by Liverpool via the club website. Klopp, is being assessed by doctors in Liverpool, however, the club state that there are currently no plans for the Reds’ boss to remain in hospital beyond his appointment and believe he will return home this evening.
The German may require to re attend hospital in the coming days as a further check up to his illness, but is expected to take to the bench on Saturday as Liverpool host Southampton.
The club haven’t announced the details of Klopp’s illness and have urged for privacy to be shown to everyone involved in the current situation.
Klopp will be hoping for a speedy recovery as Liverpool attempt to make it three league wins in a row, and four wins in succession in all competitions on Saturday.
