Ladies, Let’s All Be Great Together

Share

Some people just don’t understand loyalty to your gender. It is sad that some people will want to bring their fellow woman down just so they can shine. I met someone last month who proved this point to me and I was actually shocked. I had heard of these kind of people but had never met them. She was the first of her kind, that I knew, that just seemed to want to shine so bright at the expense of someone else, especially a fellow woman. That kind of light cannot last, from my perspective.
I always want to see another woman do great things. Apart from the fact that it motivates me, it just says that we can do whatever we put our minds to and proves that we are not the inferior sex. Which is why I don’t get it when there’s such unhealthy competition between women over the tiniest of things: clothes, hair, makeup, bags, jewelry etc. Please o, what is wrong is telling me where you bought those killer heels? Or your lovely shirt dress? Or that wonderful weave you have on? That is when you will not remember the name of the weave or where you bought it, much less remember the particular store you bought those red pumps you were rocking the other day.

But is it wrong to want to slay like you? That designer who designed your dress will appreciate more customers. The person who sold your weave will also like to make more money. Wherever you bought your shoes, perfume, jewelry, makeup etc can always do with more customers. So why hoard all that information as if you’re the only one with legal rights to look good? Why watch me have on terrible hair when you know somewhere I can go that is as affordable but makes better hair? Let’s all share the things that make us better so we can bear each other up and give each other confidence to handle bigger things. Instead of watching one another be average, ladies, let’s help one another be great.
