Julien Franck Bouadjie (born 2 May 1996) in Marseille, better known as Tayc (pronounced tye-KEE), is a Cameroonian-French singer and songwriter. He launched his musical career in 2012 after relocating to Paris. He studied theatre and dance before moving to song and writing. He began singing in 2011 and has been active since 2012 and is signed with the label H24 founded by Barack Adama of Sexion D’assaut.

4. Tout Reprendre: He came through with his first release Tout Reprendre as a track off his 10 track EP, “Alchemy” in 2017. The official audio garnered over 76k views on YouTube.

3. Le Temps: Off his album “Fleur froide (donum novae)”, this song was released in the year 2020 and it garnered over 124M views on its official music video on YouTube. It was released under the imprint of H24 record label.  It peaked at the number one spot the French Music Charts, number 7 on the Belgium Music Charts and number 10 on Switzerland’s Music Sales Charts.

  • Tayc won the Artist of The Year Award (France) at the 18th Urban Music Awards in 2022.
  • He was also nominated for Best International Act at the BET Awards in 2022, unfortunately this category was won by Tems.
  • He was also nominated at the NRJ Music Awards for Francophone Revelation of the Year in 2020.

2. Anogo : Released on the 6th of December as single, this video garnered over 463k views on YouTube.

This brought fame and popularity to the French artiste. His song has been used on the popular app TikTok. The song was produced by Nyadjiko and directed by Kevin Still. It peaked at the number 10 spot on the French Charts and 13 on the Belgium Music Charts.
