Simbiatu “Simbi” Abisola Abiola Ajikawo (born 23 February 1994), in Islington, London, to Nigerian parents better known by her stage name Little Simz, is a British rapper, singer and actress. She was raised on a council estate with two older sisters. Her mother was also a foster carer during her childhood. She is ethnically Yoruba. She studied at Highbury Fields School in London and went on to attend St Mary’s Youth Club in Upper Street, Islington, which pop stars Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke also attended.

Four: Gratitude feat. The Hics

Taken from her debut album “A curious Tale of Trials + Persons” released on the 25th of September 2015 has garnered over 1.7M views on its official music video on YouTube. The song was released AGE 101: Music Label. The Jeremy Cole directed the music video which contains clips of South African students protesting, pushing forward the message that “Education is not a privilege, but a right”

  • Simz’ acting career began with the role of Vicky in the BBC children’s series Spirit Warriors, originally broadcast in 2010, and as Meleka in the E4 television series, Youngers.
  • She was narrator for the television series, Afrofuturism, and played Shelley in Netflix’s revival and third series of Top Boy which premiered in autumn 2019.
  • She appeared as herself in the Sony/Marvel film Venom: Let There Be Carnage, singing her song “Venom” in a nightclub

“Woman” is a song by British rapper Little Simz featuring fellow British singer Cleo Sol. It was released on 6 May 2021, as the second single from the former’s fourth studio album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (2021). The song was written by Simz, Sol, and record producer Inflo. It garnered over 5.5M views on its official music video on YouTube.

Two: Gorilla

“Gorilla”, which samples a Jurassic 5 bassline was released on 12 December 2022 through the independent label Forever Living Originals. The song has garnered over 531k on its official audio on YouTube. It peaked at the number five spot on Billboard Japan Hot 100 Charts in 2023.

Undeniably her biggest hit yet, garnering over 15M views on YouTube. The song went viral on the popular social media app Tiktok in April 2021. The song was featured as the soundtrack for the Venom movie sequel. This was off her phenomenal album “Grey Area” in 2019 was released on the 6th of March, 2021.
