Seeing how much Jose Mourinho is getting as his severance package following his sack at Manchester United, one would not help but wonder if this is not part of his agenda when ever he signs for a new team. Jose Mourinho is in line for a pay-off of up to £24 million after he was sacked today by Manchester United. Mourinho was paid a salary of about £12 million and will claim he is legally entitled to his contract being paid out until its expiry date on June 30, 2020.

Chelsea also paid Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff over £30 million in compensation for twice sacking the ‘Special One’, the club’s accounts have revealed. Mourinho and his backroom team were paid £8.3m after being dismissed in December 2015, having already pocketed £23.1m from the Blues for first being sacked in 2007.

It seems Jose is not just a tactician as a coach, but also a tactician in making money and mouth watering deals when ever he’s fired. As records shows the Portuguese coach, 55, has made in total around £55.4m as compensation from clubs that terminate his contract before the agreed date.

what a way to go Jose!
