Former child star, Macaulay Culkin has shed light on the relationship he had with late king of pop, Michael Jackson.

Culkin, who is popular for his role in the hit movie Home Alone, appeared on Michael Rosenbaum’s “Inside of You” podcast where he spoke on his days as a child star, his health complications, his family and his friendship with Jackson.

In the interview, Macaulay Culkin said he and Michael Jackson became friends because the king of pop recognized he was going through something similar to what he went through as a child star singer.

“He reached out to me because a lot of things were happening, big and fast with me and I think he identified with that. At the end of the day, it’s almost easy to say it was weird or whatever but it wasn’t because it made sense. At the end of the day, we were friends.”

He added:

“For me, it’s so normal and mundane. I know it’s a big deal to everyone else, but to me, it was a normal friendship.”

The actor is one of those who maintain that Michael Jackson, whom he described as his best friend, was never sexually involved with him.
