A female student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has passed away due to complications she suffered while giving birth to twins.
Olatundun Alexander Borokinni who was in her final year of study, reportedly died following childbirth complications.
Olatundun Alexander Borokinni was an HND 2 student of the Department of Computer Science. She went into labor on Monday afternoon and was taken to a private hospital where her set of twin babies were delivered. However, she developed complications and was referred to Federal Medical Centre, FMC Idi-aba, Abeokuta. However, on the way to the hospital, the vehicle conveying her broke down, according to reports, and she died before they could get to FMC Abeokuta.
Friends and course-mates have taken to social media to mourn the death of the young mother.
