Victor Moses has expressed his happiness at returning to outdoor training as the Chelsea wing-back continues to recover from a hamstring injury. The Nigeria international has been sidelined with the problem since sustaining it during Chelsea’s 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace last month. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte confirmed last week, ahead of the Blues’ game against Manchester United, that Moses’ injury was worse than first thought, saying: “Moses’ injury was a bad injury, a bad muscular problem.

“We have to wait and have patience. He needs more time before he recovers.” But Moses, who earlier this week was nominated for the 2017 African Footballer of the Year, has handed hope to Chelsea fans that he could be back in action soon after revealing he has returned to outdoor training. In a post on social media on Thursday evening, Moses published four pictures of himself training at Cobham in, seemingly, individual sessions.

Conte has been careful about rushing back his injured stars, with the Chelsea boss having taken time to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko, Eden Hazard, Danny Drinkwater and Alvaro Morata back into action following their respective issues.
