Michael makes its debut on our chart this week with over $218m in box office sales, clinching the no. 1 spot, and knocking Super Mario Galaxy Movie down to the no. 2 position. Here’s what you need to know:
Number One: Michael
New and number one on the list is the biographical movie called Michael. The film, which is about the King of Pop, Micheal Jackson was released on the 22nd of April 2026. Micheal was produced by Lionsgate and GK films and directed by Antoine Fuqua. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $218,830,874. Some of its casts include:

Number Two: Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Dropping to number two at last is the adventure movie called Super Mario Galaxy. The game based film, which is currently the highest grossing animated movie of the year was released on the 1st of April 2026. Super Mario Galaxy Movie was produced by Illumination and Nintendo and directed by Michael Jelenic and Aaron Hovath. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $831,694,730. Number Three: Project Hail Mary
Also on the number three now is the movie called Project Hail Mary. Number Four: Lee Cronin’s The Mummy
Now on number four is the supernatural horror movie called, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy. The film, described as one to make horror veterans squirm, was directed by Lee Cronin and released on 15th of March 2026 by Warner Bros.
