Steven Spielberg’s ‘Disclosure Day’ takes the no. 1 spot this week, making its entry with a whooping $104.8 in its first week. Here’s what you need to know:

Number One: Disclosure Day

New and most trending this week is the thriller/suspense movie called Disclosure Day. The film, a science fiction, was released on the 10th of June 2026. Disclosure Day was produced by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Also, it was directed by Steven Spielberg. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $104,836,626. The movie follows a meteorologist and a cybersecurity expert who find themselves at the center of a movement to expose the government’s cover-up of extraterrestrial secrets. Some of its casts include:

Number Two: Obsession

Jumping two levels up the list is the supernatural horror movie called Obsession. The live action film was released on the 15th of May 2026. Obsession was produced by  Blumhouse Productions, Capstone Studios and Tea Shop Productions. Also, it was directed by Curry Barker. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $287,181,980. Some of its casts include:

Number Three: Scary Movie

Dropping from number one to three is the Horror movie called Scary Movie. The film, a comedy also, was released on the 5th of June 2026. Scary Movie was produced by Paramount Films and directed by Michael Tiddes. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $172,893,990. The movie follows the Core Four, who, twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe. Number Four: Backrooms

Down again on the list is the horror movie called Backrooms. The film, based on Web series, was released on the 29th of May 2026. Backrooms was produced by A24 and directed by 20 year old Kane Parsons. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $262,595,784. The movie follows a therapist who, after her patient disappears into a dimension beyond reality via a strange doorway in the basement of a furniture showroom, must venture into the unknown to save him. Casts include:
