‘The Odyssey’ retains the no. 1 spot this week with over $639m in sales as ‘Minions and Monsters’ is replaced by Hadestown: The musical (2026), taking the no. 4 spot. Here’s what you need to know:
Number One: The Odyssey
Still on number one on the list is the adventure movie called The Odyssey. The Historical fiction was released on the 17th of July 2026. The Odyssey was directed by Christopher Nolan. Also, it was produced by Universal Pictures and Syncopy. Since the week of its release the movie has grossed over $639,632,000. Some of its casts include:

Number Two: Moana
Now on number two is the musical-adventure movie called Moana. The live action film of the 2016 animation of the same name was released on the 10th of July 2026. Rising a little higher on the list is the digital animation movie called Toy Story 5. The adventure film was released on the 19th of June 2026. Toy Story 5 was produced by Disney-Pixar. Also, it was directed by Andrew Stanton. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $1,022,055,658. Some of its casts include:

Number Four: Hadestown: The musical (2026)
New and on number four is the live action movie called Hadestown: The musical. The live action concert/performance film was released on the 24th of July 2026. Hadestown: The musical was produced by Crosswalk. Also, it was directed by Liam Robinson. Since the week of its release it has grossed over $9,692,712. The movie follows the live theater capture of the hit musical Hadestown, which won eight Tony Awards in 2019 including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, featuring the five original principals of the Broadway company. The genre-defying new musical blends modern American folk music with New Orleans-inspired jazz to reimagine a sweeping ancient tale. Some of its casts include:
