Black Stars Skipper Asamoah Gyan Pictured With His Stunning Statue In Ghana

Days after former Chelsea midfielder, Micheal Essien was honoured with a frightful statue, his compatriot Asamoah Gyan is the latest Ghanaian footballer to get a similar sculpture of himself.

Gyan, who plays as a striker for Kayserispor in Turkey was spotted with his own awful statue in Kumasi, in tribute to his services for his country.

According to Saddick Adams, a sports journalist based in Ghana, he said the sculptor who designed former Chelsea midfielder Essien’s statue, erected another for the Black Stars skipper to honour him as the country’s all-time top goal scorer, with 52 goals.
