BEDC offers automatic jobs to 13 best graduates of Elizade University

The Benin Electricity Distribution Company has offered automatic employment to the students of the Elizade University, Ilara Mokin, Ondo State, who graduated with first class and second class (upper division) in the department of accounting.

The Registrar of the institution and Chairman of the convocation anniversary committee of the university, Mr. Omololu Adegbenro stated this at the second convocation of the institution.

Adegbenro said the gesture was a fulfillment of the promise of the electricity distribution company, adding that the university was ready to partner with many corporate bodies in the country.

The management of the institution had earlier announced another automatic employment for the 16 students that made first class among the 105 students that graduated from the institution.

The Chancellor of the university, Mr. Gbenga Oyebode, made the announcement in his address at the ceremony.

According to him, while the university’s first class graduates will be working in the institution, they would also be given the opportunity to continue their academic careers.
