With Burnaboy trending in the news for drinking at the club with his just won Grammy award, we’ve decided to give you a list of Artists who have at young ages won Album of the year in previous Grammy awards.

 

The Grammy Award for Album of the Year is presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to “honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales, chart position, or critical reception.  Album of the Year is the most prestigious award category at the Grammys.

 

No. 4. Barbara Joan “Barbra” Streisand. Won at the age of 22 in 1963

No. 3. Alanis Morissette. Won at the age of 21 in 1996.

Jagged Little Pill Album: It won Album of the year and Best Rock album.

Born June 1, 1974, she is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, musician, and actress. Known for her emotive mezzo-soprano voice, Morissette began her career in Canada in the early 1990s with two mildly successful dance-pop albums.

You Ought to Know – Off The Jagged Little pill album. In 1996, the single was nominated for three Grammy Awards, winning the awards for Best Rock Song and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

Fearless won best Album of the year and Best country album at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

Fearless is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released on November 11, 2008, by Big Machine Records.

Born December 13, 1989, She  is an American singer-songwriter. Her narrative lyricism, which often takes inspiration from her personal life and experiences, has received widespread critical praise and media coverage.

Fearless – The song was written by Swift, Liz Rose and Hillary Lindsey, and produced by Swift and Nathan Chapman. It is the same title as the album and also the first track off the album.

 

No. 1. Billie Elish. Won at the age of 18 in 2019.

Bad Guy – It was released by Darkroom and Interscope Records as the fifth single from Eilish’s debut studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell co-wrote “Bad Guy”, with the latter producing it and the former providing additional production. It was certified 11x Platinum by ARIA.
