A young man has been caught on camera fighting back as operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad tried to search his phone.
A video has emerged showing the moment a young Nigerian man was caught on camera standing up to SARS officers who tried to harass him.
In the video, the young man who is yet to be identified, is seen shouting back at the SARS operatives, repeatedly telling them “I know my right” as other people stood round watching the drama.
The armed SARS men who were enraged by his resistance were seen viciously attacking and hitting him with their batons.
Local reports show that the incident happened at Oke Ira, a community in Lagos state
The video ended abruptly and it is known if the operatives later had their way with him. However, the footage has caused some outrage on social media.
