Jackman Thomas Harlow (born March 13, 1998) is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer from Louisville, Kentucky. Starting from 2015, Harlow had released several EPs and Mixtapes before he was signed to Don Cannon and DJ Drama’s record label Generation Now in 2018, an imprint of Atlantic Records. Harlow’s music has been described as breezy and easy listening.

 

Four – Dua lipa: It’s official audio garnered over 4.8M views on YouTube. It was released May 2022 which was off his second studio Album “come home the kids miss you” The song was actually named after famous singer Dua Lipa which he asked permission for and she was like “okay it’s not my song”. It charted number 13 on Canada’s Hot 100 and in Australia for the ARIA amongst others

He is of French and Irish descent.Harlow’s grandfather used to live down the street from designerTommy Hilfiger. Jack Harlow began rapping at age 12. When he was in seventh grade, Harlow acquired a professional microphone and made his first mixtape, Extra Credit, using the moniker “Mr. Harlow.”

Two – First Class: The official video of this song garnered over 40M views on YouTube. It was released on the 8th of April, 2022 as a single of his second studio album “come home the kids miss you” which was released through Atlantic Records and Generation Now. The song was produced by Roget Chahayed , BabeTruth, Charlie Handsome, Jasper Harris and Nickie Jon Pabón, and samples the 2006 Fergie sons “Glamorous”.  The song went viral on Tiktok before its release. debuted at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 becoming Harlow’s second song and first solo song to top the chart. The song also entered atop the charts in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, peaked at number two in Austria, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, South Africa,and many more

 

Accolades

Harlow has received several award nominations from various institutions, including  Top New Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. In the same year, he was named Variety’s”Hitmaker of the Year” and was included in Forbes 30 Under 30. In March 2022, it was announced that Harlow will make his acting debut in a remake of the 1992 film ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ directed by Calmatic.

He has been nominated for a lot of Awards but has won the Billboard Music Awards for his single “What’s Poppin” as the Top Rap Song.

This song garnered over 358M views on it’s official video on YouTube. It released on July 23, 2021, through Columbia Records. The song features co-production by American rapper and record producer Kanye West. The song debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of August 7, 2021, and became Lil Nas X’s third and Harlow’s first number-one single on the chart on the week of October 23, 2021. It won the Best Pop video international for the UK Music Video Awards and was nominated for the Grammys for Best Melodic Rap Performance.

 

One – What’s poppin (remix): The music video garnered over 232 million views on YouTube. The remix featured amazing artist like DaBaby, lil Wayne and Tory Lanez. This was his first major breakthrough as his single of his album “Sweet Action” which was aided by its popularity on Tiktok. The remix was released on the 24th of June, 2020. The remix reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 for the chart dated July 11, 2020. The song has been certified 3x Platinum for the ARIA in Australia, Gold in Austria and so many more.
