Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991), known by his initials NF is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He has released two EPs, I’m Free (2012), and a self-titled EP in 2014 with Capitol CMG. NF has released five studio albums so far.

 

He was  born in Gladwin, Michigan. His parents divorced, and he was raised by his mother until his father had to take him away when her boyfriend abused him. His mother died from an overdose in 2009 which led to him dedicating the song “How Could You Leave Us” to her. He graduated from Gladwin High School in 2009, and was on the basketball team. NF started his career at the Fine Arts Festival organized by Connection Church in Canton, Michigan.

 

No. 4. Intro: Off his Debut studio album “masion”, Intro serves as the first track and released in 2015 under the Label “Capitol CMG”. Its official video has over 17million views on Youtube and still counting. The song was included in the video game Madden NFL 16.

 

His second studio album “Therapy Session” was released on the 22nd of April, 2016.

 

No. 3. Real: Off his second Studio Album “Therapy Session”   The song was certified Gold by RIAA. It was produced by Garcias and serves as the 6th Track off the album.

 

No. 2. Lost: Released on March 11, 2021 as the third single from his mixtape Clouds (The Mixtape). The song features American rapper Hopsin and is produced by NF, Tommee Profitt and Saint X. In the song, NF raps about feeling lost and finding himself. It was produced by NF, Profitt and Saint X.

 

NF has credited Eminem as his prime influence in hip hop, claiming that at one point that was all he listened to. NF’s style has also been compared to Logic and Machine Gun Kelly. Although he found his musical upbringing in Christian hip-hop, NF has denied his label as a Christian rapper, saying “I’m a Christian, but I don’t make Christian music. You’re not going to reach everyone with just one point of view. I write about things I’m actually dealing with. You don’t have to be Christian to relate to them.”

 

No. 1. The Search: Released through Capitol Records on May 30, 2019, as the second single from the album of the same name. It was written and produced by the lead artist and Tommee Profitt, and lyrically discusses the negative impact of fame and commercial success on NF’s mental and physical health. A music video was released the same day as the song. It debuted at number 70 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It was produced by NF and Profitt.
