The Blues are planning a huge transfer splurge this January with the threat of a two-year transfer ban hanging over them by FIFA.

According to the Express, Chelsea could spend up to £200m in the upcoming window, with one of their main targets being Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, rated at £50m.

Maurizio Sarri would also like to boost his defence with Elseid Hysaj, from his former side Napoli, and Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake, who Chelsea have £40m buy-back agreement for.

However, the club’s biggest outlay could be on £70m-rated Christian Pulisic from Dortmund.
