Thin, slippery and stretchy
If you have thin, slippery, milky white and stretchy vaginal discharge it could mean you’re ovulating. If you’re having itching or burning along with this however, it might mean you have a yeast infection.
Whitish grey with a fishy smell
If your discharge is whitish grey with a fishy smell, it might be a sign that you have an infection called Bacteria Vaginosis (BV) and you should see a doctor immediately.
Yellowish with a foul smell
Gonorrhea or syphilis can make your discharge change to a yellowish color, these infections do not always show symptoms, which is why you should do a yearly check up with your doctor.
Frothy green discharge
There is one sexually transmitted disease that shows symptoms and also shows in your discharge. If you have a frothy green discharge, it is usually a sign you have Trichomoniasis.
Brown discharge
This can be caused by irregular periods and the leftover blood that comes with it. However, if you have continuous brown discharge it might be a symptom of uterine or cervical cancer.
