Donald Trump is fully aware of the alleged homophobic attack on “Empire” cast, Jussie Smollett and he thinks that it is “horrible.”
The president of the United States said this at the Oval Office on Thursday, January 31, 2019, when a reporter asked him of his opinion on the issue.
Trump said, “That I can tell you is horrible. I’ve seen it … last night. It doesn’t get worse, as far as I’m concerned.”
His response was pretty brief and hardly threw any more light on the issue especially after reports reveal that Smollett’s attackers had said, “This is MAGA country.
The police have now confirmed via surveillance camera footage that Smollett was indeed strangled with a rope around his neck by the attackers who also poured bleach on him.
According to the reports, the suspects are white males who wore ski masks to hide their faces during the attack that took place at a subway in New York on Monday, January 28, 2019.
Smollett is currently undergoing treatment at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital while the police have revealed the arrest of two possible suspects.
