Ubi Franklin, a popular Nigerian entrepreneur and boss of Triple MG record label, has shared some details about his family life and his fatherhood journey in an interview with controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze.
The music executive and father of three revealed to Daddy Freeze that he is not happy with the way he started his family. Franklin stated that the way he had his three children his not the way he would have liked to start a family.
He said: “Honestly, I want to say it today the way I have had my kids, the three of them, is not how I would have loved to have them. I prayed to God for four kids, I have three now. I would have wished that they were all together in the same home but you see, things happen. I don’t regret anything.”
Franklin also addressed the allegations about his third baby mama. It had been said that he got the lady pregnant while she was his staff.
However, the music executive made it clear that he was already dating the lady before he hired her as a staff.
He said: “My ex that just had a baby. we were dating before she started working with me. We were dating and one day I was on the phone trying to get a good communications person and she had already worked with a communications department in a multinational company in South Africa and she said I could help you do a few things while you look for the person to do it which is not bad.
“After that, she started working with us. We were dating before she became my staff because I felt she had a particular skill I needed. She was someone that could understand and listen to me at a particular time to do the job. She is a great person. Not every relationship will end in marriage.”
The father of three also addressed his relationship with his ex-wife, actress Lilian Esoro. He stated that they have always been friends, and they stayed friends after the divorce.
Franklin also made it clear that he does not like to talk about her during interviews because she also respects him by not saying anything about him.
The young man also cleared the air about his relationship with former Big Brother Naija star TBoss. According to him, he and TBoss are just friends and nothing more.
