Tyga has responded to one of the Love Island twins said that he was her claim to fame – which he subsequently ridiculed on social media.

Last night on the ITV2 show, the Islanders took part in their first challenge Spill The Tea as they confessed their steamy secrets.

Before even entering the South African villa, however, Eve Gale said that her claim to fame was the 30-year-old rapper sliding into her DMs.

“Tyga, Kylie Jenner ’s ex, messaged me,” she said. “We were both at an event and I posted an Instagram story tagging him. He then messaged me afterwards and we spoke on WhatsApp.

“Then when me and Jess were in Ibiza, he was there again. He asked me to meet him but we arrived the day he left. Pop Smoke, the R ‘n’ B rapper, messaged me too.”

After being tagged by numerous Love Island fans, Tyga retweeted a viewer’s tweet which he has since deleted.

The fan shared a picture of Tyga next to another man wearing a baseball cap back to front.

They wrote: “The Tyga that she claims dm’ed her vs the Tyga that actually dm’ed her #Love Island.”

And Tyga couldn’t seem to let it go when he was mentioned once again last night.

He tweeted three crying laughing emojis after the show aired and fans were similarly in hysterics.

One tweeted: “Tyga you’ve officially made the biggest mistake of your life.”
