Congolese singer, Koffi Olomide, has been found guilty of the statutory rape of one of his dancers.
A French court handed the crooner a two-year suspended jail sentence, yesterday, for sexually assaulting the dancer when she was aged 15.
The ruling was made in absentia as the 62-year-old controversial singer failed to attend the court session.
He was ordered to pay the former dancer, $5,700 in damages. The ruling means Olomide only faces arrest if he commits further offenses.
