Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will be fit for Egypt’s World Cup campaign and could return to action within three weeks, his country says.
The 25-year-old injured his shoulder during Liverpool’s Champions League final loss to Real Madrid on Saturday.
Egypt’s team doctor has met Salah and their Football Association said his absence “will not exceed” three weeks.
Egypt’s opening World Cup game is against Uruguay on 15 June and they face Russia four days later.
